Magnesium Oxide
Magnesium plays a variety of roles in the body. Not only is it critical for energy production and proper nerve function, it also promotes muscle relaxation and helps the body produce and use insulin. Like calcium, another mineral it's commonly paired with in supplement products, magnesium is involved in the formation of bones and teeth, the clotting of blood, and the regulation of heart rhythm. Magnesium, sometimes taken in combination with calcium, is often used to treat such ailments as back pain, high blood pressure, depression, anxiety and panic, muscle cramps, and migraine headache. MaxiVision used Magnesium in its original form of Magnesium Oxide (MgO). Other mixtures of magnesium often found in other vitamins include Magnesium Stearate which is a combination of stearic acid and the essential mineral magnesium. Often times this combination is used in tablets to help the solid ingredients from falling apart in the bottle because of the waxy, oily properties of stearic acid. Magnesium Oxide is like powdered oxygen by absorbing this nutrient we derive many benefits that are associated by increased oxygenation. But in addition to these health promoting benefits, there is also a magnesium component in the magnesium oxide which is also important for optimal health.

Manganese
Needed for healthy skin, bone and cartilage formation as well as glucose tolerance. It helps activate superoxide dimutase (SOD), an important antioxidant enzyme.

Molybdenum
A little known, though essential, trace mineral. It is instrumental in regulating pH balance in the body. For each pH point increase, the oxygen level is increased 10xs, thus increasing the metabolism and enhancing the body’s ability to burn fat. Although very small amounts are needed, molybedenum is a vital part of 3 important enzyme-dependent processes, including the metabolism of iron. When the iron stored in the liver is freed, it can carry oxygen to body cells and tissues. Molybdenum works with the enzyme systems to help eliminate toxic nitrogen waste by turning it into uric acid. The uric acid then can be converted and more easily flushed out of the system. Because of this nutrients ability to raise the body’s pH, it may be beneficial in the treatment of cancer, viruses and parasites. Molybdenum is considered safe up to 15 mg per day.

MSM (Methyl-Sulfonyl-Methane)
Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM, or dimethylsulfone) is an organic sulfur compound belonging to a class of chemicals known as sulfones. It occurs naturally in some primitive plants and is present in small amounts in many foods and beverages. While more specific research is needed, it is believed that because MSM contains sulfur, a vital element in the composition of virtually all connective tissue, it is thought to help repair damaged connective tissue (for example, in joints) rather than simply suppressing symptoms associated with joint degeneration.

Mucin Complex
People who suffer from some forms of dry eye syndrome have less mucosal epithelial membrane mucin in their conjunctiva than do normal subjects. Goblet cells manufacture mucin sacs that travel to the cell membrane and explode into the tear film, releasing all the granules from the cell. Mucin complex promotes the manufacture and release of this protective mucus.
